A 15-year-old girl from Joshipur Village Municipality-6 was allegedly gang-raped, and the police have arrested two suspects in connection with the incident.

The arrested individuals are 18-year-old Suman Dagaura and 18-year-old Kushal Chaudhary, both from Joshipur-1, according to DSP Kabindra Singh Bohara, spokesperson of the Kailali District Police Office. They were apprehended by the Bhajani Area Police Office.

Police have reported that two other suspects involved in the rape have fled to India. The individuals who fled are 18-year-old Rajkumar Chaudhary and 19-year-old Ashik Chaudhary.

It is alleged that the four individuals gang-raped the minor on the 22nd of Mangsir (a month in the Nepali calendar). However, the police were informed about the incident late. A case has been registered against them under the charge of rape, and an investigation is currently underway.
