Actor Raj Ballav Koirala has arrived in Nepal from the United States to promote the upcoming film Actor: Take One. He landed at Tribhuvan International Airport on Saturday afternoon.
He was welcomed at the airport by his co-actor Pradeep Khadka, along with the film’s director and producers. Speaking to the media at the airport, Koirala talked about acting, the changes in the Nepali film industry, his co-actors, and his plans for the future.
According to sources close to the film, during his approximately 10-day stay in Kathmandu, Koirala will participate in the film’s premiere, promotional activities, and the launch ceremony of his poetry collection book, Aura. The film is set to premiere on Monday evening at the QFX Radhe Radhe Hall.
Koirala is making his return to acting with this film after a long hiatus, playing one of the lead roles. He made his film debut with Parkhi Base and his last release was Hey Yuwa, which premiered in 2015.
