In the match played at Valladolid’s home ground, Mbappé opened the scoring in the 30th minute to give Real the lead. He scored his second goal in the 57th minute and completed his hat-trick in the first minute of injury time in the second half.
After the hat-trick, Mbappé’s goal tally in La Liga has reached 15, leaving him just one goal behind Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski (16). Across all competitions this season, Mbappé has scored 22 goals.
Following this win, Real Madrid has accumulated 49 points from 21 matches. Atlético Madrid is in second place with 45 points from the same number of games. Barcelona and Athletic Club Bilbao, both with one game in hand, have 39 points each.
