On Thursday, a total of 452 passengers used the Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa, according to the airport office.
Airport Director General Pratap Babu Tiwari said that 102 passengers arrived in Bhairahawa on a Jazeera Airways flight, while 149 passengers flew out on the same airline.
Similarly, 128 passengers traveled on a Thai AirAsia flight. A Fly Dubai flight from Dubai brought 44 passengers to Bhairahawa, and 29 passengers flew out from there.
Director General Tiwari mentioned that flights at this airport are increasing again. However, during the winter, many flights were reduced due to bad weather and low visibility, which made it difficult to operate flights regularly.
