The fourth edition of Mr. and Miss National Nepal is set to take place, with details about the event and auditions announced during a press conference. Dr. Santosh Upadhyay, the director of Sunurvi International and the national organizer of Mr. and Miss National, expressed his happiness at reaching this milestone. “We started this competition in 2022, and it feels great to have reached the fourth edition. I would like to thank everyone who has joined us up until now. We are planning this for the long term,” Upadhyay said. Auditions for the competition will begin on February 15 and run until March 2. They will be held in Kathmandu Valley, Biratnagar, Pokhara, Itahari, Chitwan, Nepalgunj, and Dhangadhi. In the Kathmandu auditions, Diana, the winner of Miss Globe, will participate as a judge from February 11 to 16.
The competition will also collaborate with the World Youth Festival to organize an international-level fashion runway show in Kavrepalanchok, focusing on raising awareness about climate change. Mr. and Miss National will feature competitions in several categories, including Miss Supra National, Miss Globe Nepal, Mr. Supra National, Miss Intercontinental, Mr. International, and Mr. Tourism World. In the previous Mr. and Miss National 2024 competition, Sajina Khanal was crowned Miss Supra National, while Dhiroj Kaji Basnet became Mr. Supra National. Other winners included Monica Adhikari as Miss Globe Nepal, Ayushnova Dhungana as Miss Intercontinental Nepal, Kshitij Shrestha Chhetri as Mr. International Nepal, and Milan Bhattrai as Mr. Tourism World.
Dhiroj Kaji Basnet made it to the Top 20 at Mr. Supra National in Poland, while Sajina Khanal reached the Top 6 in the Influencer category of Miss Supra National. Monica Adhikari achieved a Top 15 finish in Miss Globe, held in Albania. Ayushnova Dhungana and Kshitij Shrestha Chhetri represented Nepal in Miss Intercontinental, held in Egypt, and Mr. International, held in Thailand, respectively. Milan Bhattrai will represent Nepal at Mr. Tourism World, taking place in Vietnam on February 10.
