Palungtar Municipality-6, Gorkha: A 67-year-old woman, Krishnamaya Kami, was found dead after drowning in a well, according to Inspector Dhurva Prasad Sharma of the District Police Office.
Locals discovered her body in a well approximately five feet deep and immediately informed the police.
The incident occurred on Thursday, and police later recovered the body. After conducting an autopsy, the body was handed over to the family for final rites, Inspector Sharma stated.
Family members informed the police that the deceased had been suffering from mental health issues.
